By capturing and treating grey water from showers and bathtubs, the Greyter HOME is the single greatest water savings appliance for the home.
Greyter Water Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting greywater recycling systems, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow assembly instructions precisely.
Responsibilities
- Assemble greywater units according to work instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Inspect and test assembled units to ensure proper functionality and quality compliance.
- Identify and report defects or assembly issues to the supervisor.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments on units as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Assist in inventory control by tracking parts and reporting shortages.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, plumbing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail with focus on quality control
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems or water filtration is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication and strong teamwork abilities.
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license, required for occasional parts pick-ups and site errands
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 per hour
