Overview
The Produce Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring that customers have access to fresh, high-quality produce. This position involves working in a fast-paced retail environment where exceptional customer service and product knowledge are essential. The Produce Clerk is responsible for maintaining the produce section, assisting customers, and ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and safely. MUST be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting fresh fruits and vegetables, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions.
- Greet Customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce section, ensuring all products are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Monitor product quality and freshness, removing any expired or damaged items from the shelves.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the store.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff to enhance the shopping experience.
- Assist in receiving deliveries of produce, including unloading shipments and stocking shelves.

- Strong retail sales experience with a focus on customer service excellence.

- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to stank/walk for long periods of time
