Responsibilities
Assist customers with their produce selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure the produce section is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor product freshness and remove any expired or damaged items.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of produce items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle cashier duties as required during peak hours.
- Support merchandising efforts to promote seasonal or special items.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly produce section.
- Basic knowledge of merchandising principles is an asset.
- Cashiering experience is a plus but not mandatory.
