We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Procurement Supply Chain Manager to strengthen our Strategic Sourcing team within the Ingredients category. This role is responsible for managing and resolving supply chain-related issues originating from suppliers, with a focus on enhancing reliability, communication, and efficiency across the supplier interface. Working closely with both internal supply chain teams and external suppliers, this role ensures that accurate forecasts are communicated, supply disruptions are mitigated, and performance escalations are addressed effectively through collaboration with the Supplier Transformation team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for addressing supply chain issues caused by ingredient suppliers, including late deliveries, short shipments, missed specifications, and documentation gaps.
  • Lead issue resolution efforts, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to implement short-term corrective actions and long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal supply chain, planning, and procurement teams to gather and consolidate short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
  • Communicate and align forecasts with key ingredient suppliers to support capacity planning and reduce supply risks.
  • Monitor and track supplier delivery performance, escalate recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain logs of incidents and disruptions, identifying root causes and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Supply Chain Operations, and the Supplier Transformation team.
  • Provide structured updates to the Director of Ingredients and cross-functional leadership on high-risk supplier issues and resolution timelines.
  • Support the development of standardized communication tools, supplier scorecards, and escalation protocols.
  • Partner with the Supplier Transformation team to relay issues that require deeper supplier engagement, including quality audits, capability assessments, or contractual reviews.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier management, ideally within the food manufacturing or CPG industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in issue resolution, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proficient in forecasting, data analysis, and SAP.
