Processor - Dry Ice (Full Time) Varennes, QC
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain plant health, safety and environmental standards;
- Cut (depending on location), pack and prepare dry ice orders for various segments of the dry ice market;
- Load trailers and ship dry ice directly to branches or customers;
- Perform general warehouse maintenance;
- Complete required shipping documents;
- Operate forklift and electric pallet truck;
- Follow standard operating procedures;
- Willing to work overtime as needed to meet peak product demands;
- Flexible hours, as schedules and shifts are subject to change.
- Environmental and quality control awareness
Required qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Experience working in an industrial environment is an asset;
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics preferred.
- Required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Safety conscious;
- Comfortable with computers and data entry systems;
- Able to lift up to a maximum of 23 kg (50 lb) repetitively;
- Able to work cooperatively with others;
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license through the company.
