DESCRIPTION

Amazon Supply Chain Optimization and Technology is seeking a Principal Product Manager Tech to lead the development of AI technologies that will revolutionize our supply chain operations. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of autonomous supply chain systems, working at the intersection of Agentic AI, machine learning, and complex logistics operations. Your contributions will be highly visible and instrumental in achieving goals set by Amazon's senior leadership team.

Key job responsibilities
  • Lead and set the strategic vision and 3-year roadmap for a portfolio of AI capabilities in supply chain automation
  • Drive product development from conception through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
  • Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists, Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex technical capabilities into valuable business solutions
  • Work with Amazon's AI organizations to develop new capabilities and bring them to life in the supply chain context
  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps across multiple teams and global regions
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, delivering capabilities that internal stakeholders love and that drive significant business impact
  • Continuously improve products and capabilities based on customer feedback, operational needs, and evolving industry standards

About the team
You'll be joining a newly formed team within Amazon Supply Chain Optimization and Technology with a bold mission to revolutionize supply chain automation through state-of-the-art AI technology. We're reimagining supply chain automation from the ground up, combining AI techniques with emerging Agentic AI capabilities to build autonomous systems that can understand, reason about, and optimize complex supply chain operations.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
  • Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with end to end product delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
