The IBM Client Innovation Centre Quebec (CIC), at LGS, employs professionals who collaborate on projects within technology practices, offering local and remote services. - Provide daily operational support for Fiserv’s Premier banking application, ensuring stability and performance across platforms.
- Manage technical operations in a multi-platform environment, with a strong focus on Unisys MCP and IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems.
- Support bank conversions, mergers, and client onboarding from an operational standpoint.
- Respond to production issues during on-call rotations, ensuring quick resolution of critical processing incidents.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical problems, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment focused on accuracy, uptime, and delivery.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing, with a strong emphasis on computer operations.
- Solid understanding of basic programming logic and job scheduling workflows.
- Proven experience in supporting enterprise-level technical applications, preferably in the financial sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Unisys MCP, WFL scripting, and IBM iSeries systems.
- Familiarity with AJS (job scheduler) and batch operations.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, documentation, and client-focused delivery.
- Your ability to work independently and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
- Your problem-solving mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Your collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in team-based environments.
- Your attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to high-quality service.
- Your availability for off-hours support, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv’s Premier application (strong asset)
- Knowledge of multi-platform environments, including cross-system integration
- Prior work in the banking or financial services industry is a strong plus
