We are seeking an experienced Practice Leader to oversee the Diversified Knowledge Professionals segment within our Associations & Affinity Groups (AAG) Department. This strategic leadership role will focus on driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and leading a high-performing team in a dynamic industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to support growth, retention, and market positioning.
- Analyze client needs, market trends, and competitive risks to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that highlight industry expertise and value-added services.
- Enhance client retention by ensuring clarity, accessibility, and a seamless service experience.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key strategic clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Provide expertise on commercial insurance, keeping clients informed on industry trends and best practices.
- Lead and contribute to the development of risk management tools, white papers, webinars, and industry insights.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop automated client touchpoints and improve engagement.
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to support team growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and set objectives to ensure high standards of service.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities in collaboration with sales teams.
- Attend industry conferences to strengthen professional networks and stay informed on industry developments.
- Establish and monitor financial performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Negotiate insurer terms, rates, and commissions to ensure competitive offerings and profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers to support program growth and development.
- Collaborate with insurer partners on educational initiatives for clients.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Underwriting, or Commercial Insurance (Programs Insurance preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and change initiatives.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and strategic problem-solving abilities.
