Pete’s Pizza Victoria is looking for an energetic and reliable individual to join our team as a Front Counter Associate & Pizza Maker. In this role, you will be the face of our store—greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing our signature pizzas to perfection. The ideal candidate is friendly, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great customer service and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are properly sanitized before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Help manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
Requirements
- Experience in pizza making is required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
