Caffe Cinquecento by Chef Luciano is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pizzeria Staff with a minimum of 2 years of experience making hand-stretched pizzas and as a prep cook!
Located inside the Columbus Centre in Toronto, Caffe Cinquecento is a bustling Italian coffee shop and bistro serving high-quality pizzas, paninis, and salads. We are currently seeking a motivated individual who is available to work the morning and afternoon shifts at our pizza station.
As a member of our team, you will start your day as a kitchen helper from 8 am until 12-2 pm, assisting with preparing paninis and salads. In the afternoon, from 12-2 pm until closing (7 pm), you will take on the role of a pizza maker.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to company recipes
- Monitoring oven temperatures and cooking times for pizzas
- Ensuring high-quality and consistent pizzas are made for our customers
- Keeping a clean and organized workstation
- Communicating with servers and customers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of orders
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous pizza making or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual.
