Position: Pickup & Trailer Driver – Equipment & Material Hauling

Job Overview
This position involves hauling small construction equipment (such as excavators, skid steers) and materials to and from job sites in the Edmonton area. Experience in equipment hauling is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Haul small construction equipment and materials using a pickup and trailer
- Safely load, unload, and secure equipment
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicle and trailer
- Coordinate with site supervisors to meet daily hauling needs
- Follow all transportation safety regulations and company protocols
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience hauling construction equipment with a pickup and trailer (required)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Strong understanding of trailer safety and load securement
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-2020 certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (if required)
- Must complete Tierra Construction’s orientation prior to starting
Schedule:
- Average of 10-hour shifts
- Monday to Saturday
- Day shifts with overtime as required
- Local/in-town hauls only
