Ridley Heights Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join our fast-growing healthcare Team in St. Catharines as both a Physiotherapy Assistant and Office Administrator. Our clinic is part of the First On Fourth building located near the St. Catharines Hospital. The building hosts an array of medical professionals to best suit our patient’s needs.

Requirements and Qualification:
- Degree in Kinesiology or Diploma in PTA/OTA,
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team as well as work independently,
- Experience working in a fast-paces medical office setting,
- Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,
- Adaptable, reliable, and flexible with schedule based on clinic needs,
- Exceptional customer service skills including telephone etiquette and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow and implement treatment plans as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to exercises and application of modalities. (i.e. heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS),
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, treatment rooms, and clinic,
- Fitting for bracing, dispensing of products prescribed by the Physiotherapist, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Doctors,
- Utilize SOAP notes on patients to further clarify and explain changes in their condition and /or programs (i.e. Physical condition or program change) through Juvonno,
- Exercise programs and utilization of Physiotec,
- Communicate daily, with both clinicians and admin staff, any necessary information that may affect client health and treatmentsn
- Maintaining schedules of multiple rehabilitation therapists,
- Greeting patients, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments,
- Performing opening and closing procedures,
- Billing, invoicing, and collecting payments– Private pay, 3rd party payers, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) clients,
- Assisting with for social media content creation,
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
