We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking medications and supplies as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support the medication administration process by preparing prescriptions for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Pharmacy technician experience is a plus, with knowledge of medication management practices.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
