We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of patient care and medication administration within our facility.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Organize and manage pharmacy supplies, ensuring that all medications are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and medication management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kroll software, medication name and medication administration practices is highly desirable.
- A strong commitment to patient care, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Due to the demographics of our clientele, fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a requirement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
