Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant Location: Brookswood pharmacy
About Us: Brookswood pharmacy is a trusted community pharmacy dedicated to providing excellent patient care, personalized service, and professional health advice. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions
Provide friendly and professional customer service at the counter and over the phone
Process transactions, manage cash register/POS system, and handle insurance billing Maintain stock levels, check expiry dates, and assist in inventory management Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with regulations
Support pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications: Previous pharmacy or retail experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Basic computer skills required
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Availability for weekdays and some weekends may be required
