Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings and premises for signs of pests, applying pesticides, and setting traps to eliminate unwanted pests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of infested areas
- Identify pests and determine the appropriate treatment
- Apply pesticides in and around buildings according to safety regulations
- Set traps and seal entry points to prevent further infestation
- Educate customers on pest prevention measures
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports
Experience
- Previous two years experience in pest control is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is advantageous
- We’ll provide candidates with the training necessary, a truck, which they can take to their home, a phone, uniform and all the tools and materials necessary to operate.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
Work Location: On the road
