Your Role as a Pest Control Technician
As a Pest Control Technician in Prince George, you'll be instrumental in developing our presence in the area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing primarily our national clients within a 150km radius of Prince George, requiring consistent driving and travel.
- Inspecting commercial properties thoroughly to identify pest issues and potential entry points.
- Developing customized and effective pest control plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Safely applying a variety of pest control treatments, including pesticides, baits, and traps, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Educating clients on pest prevention techniques and offering recommendations for long-term pest management.
- Maintaining accurate records of all services, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and invoices.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and ensuring the proper handling and storage of chemicals.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry best practices, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with your team members to deliver efficient service and meet client expectations.
- Communicating effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide outstanding customer service.
- Actively incentivized to drive growth and sales by networking within the community and growing the Rentokil/Terminix brand in the Prince George area.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and comfort working in various weather conditions.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Sales experience is a plus, as you'll be instrumental in growing our client base.
- A willingness and ability to network and actively grow the brand in the Prince George area.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: From $50,000.00 per year, plus a $6,000 rural bonus
- Additional Pay: Commission pay (with heavy incentives for growth and sales), Overtime pay
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Full-time, Permanent
- Work Location: On the road, primarily servicing within a 150km radius of Prince George, BC.
