- Assisting with dressing.
- Preparing meals.
- Doing laundry.
- Performing light sanitization tasks (e.g., wiping down surfaces).

- Be trustworthy, empathetic, and able to handle responsibility with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a work permit authorized to work this position in Canada. No sponsorship is available.
Compensation:

- This role is structured as an "independent contractor" position.
- You will need to register a sole proprietorship (one-time cost of about $60).
- PSW insurance is also required (about $40/month).
- The hourly rate does not include vacation pay, CPP, EI, or other deductions. Independent contractor positions do not include sick days or vacation days; any such days are considered unpaid time off. You are responsible for setting aside a portion of your earnings to pay amounts due at tax time.
- Invoices are submitted every two weeks and are typically paid within a few days of receipt.
**: After deductions, the take-home rate is roughly equivalent to earning about $30 per hour.
Assessment Process:
As part of the hiring process, candidates will be asked to complete a short assessment designed to evaluate problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and overall suitability for the work. Candidates should be comfortable with this type of testing, as it is an important step in ensuring a good fit for the role. Please note that all screening questions must be answered correctly to be considered for this position.
Training:
Successful candidates will receive training to ensure they are fully prepared for the role. Applicants should be open to learning our processes and accepting guidance, as this training is an important part of building the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
