Live-In Male PSW (Personal Support Worker) – Bathurst & Clark, Thornhill
Location: Bathurst & Clark, Thornhill, Ontario

Compensation: Flat daily rate based on $12–$15/hour averaged over full-day availability
Monthly Pay: Approximately $3,100–$3,900/month (net, before taxes)
Added Value: Room, board & meals worth $1,000–$1,300/month included
Schedule Overview:
- Monday to Friday:
- Live-in availability from morning to night (18 hours/day)
- 10–12 active work hours/day
- Overnight sleep included (only 1–2 light interruptions if needed)
- Friday–Sunday (Weekends):
- Days off
- Sleep-in only (standby overnight care)
Private roomKey Responsibilities:
- Toileting and incontinence care (client wears a diaper)
- Bathing, dressing, grooming
- Feeding support and basic meal prep
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders and companionship
- Occasional errands or accompaniment
- Respond to client via buzzer if help is needed at night
Requirements:
- Male PSW only (due to privacy and personal care needs)
- PSW certificate or relevant caregiving experience
- Experience with dementia or memory care preferred
- Calm, reliable, and physically capable
- Clear vulnerable sector check
- Eligible to work in Canada
Assets (not required):
- Familiarity with kosher homes or Jewish customs
- Prior live-in caregiving experience
Compensation Breakdown:
- Flat daily rate based on full presence (18 hrs/day), even though active caregiving is ~10–12 hrs/day
- Estimated monthly earnings: $3,100–$3,900 gross
- Estimated value of room, board, and meals: $1,000–$1,300/month
(Private room + all food covered)
Total value of compensation package: ~$4,100–$5,200/month
