Bernstein Law Group is currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Assistant / Law Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and be capable of managing files from intake through to trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with clients in person, by phone, and in writing
- Drafting pleadings and other legal documents
- Requesting and organizing productions
- Referring clients to appropriate medical and rehabilitative treatment
- Managing Accident Benefits claims
- Managing Tort claims
- Reviewing and summarizing files
- Drafting correspondence
- Liaising with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Working closely with the lawyer to develop and implement litigation strategies
- Communicating with experts and coordinating reports
- Assisting in trial preparation
Qualifications:
- Experience in personal injury law
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependable, proactive, and a collaborative team player
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
