Payroll Specialist
As the Payroll Specialist, you'll be part of a collaborative Payroll and Benefits team. You are results-oriented and detail-focused, excelling in a fast-paced environment that demands the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy is always maintained.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret and apply principles of collective agreements
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices as well as CRA legislation
- Advanced computer proficiency in payroll software and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to effectively work in a team environment and independently
- Able to support and deputise for management
- Participate and take a leading role in process improvement initiatives
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a unionized and/or federally regulated environment
- Strong computer proficiency in payroll software and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
This position will be fully office-based, in our Vancouver airport location.
