Customer Service/ Parts Advisor needed for busy trailer repair business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organization skills. This role involves assisting customers with their parts needs, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth order fulfillment process. The Parts Advisor will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with parts inquiries and recommendations
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment for automotive parts
- Utilize POS systems for processing transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery options
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
- Maintain organized records of sales, orders, and customer interactions
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely availability of required parts for repairs
Experience
- Must speak fluent English
- Customer service experience is beneficial
- Basic automotive knowledge and terminology is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills are essential
