GA Checkpoint is looking for someone with amazing customer service to join our team in our Parts and Accessories department at our ABBOTSFORD location! If you enjoy meeting people, learning new things, and sharing exciting experiences, this could be a great fit. Knowledge of either motorsports or marine industries are a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train someone who’s eager to learn and motivated to succeed!
This is a full-time position, working Tuesdays-Saturdays, 9am-5:30pm. Pay will be determined by your experience, with additional opportunities to earn commission!
Job Summary
- Providing excellent service to assist with customer’s needs and questions
- Processing transactions for customers such as purchases & special orders
- Answering phones & taking parts calls
- Assisting the service department with the parts needed to complete jobs
- Keeping the retail sales floor stocked, presentable, and clean
- Maintaining stock levels and doing stock orders when needed
- Continuously staying up to date with new products
- Opportunities to assist at various shows & events we showcase at
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Similar experience is an asset, but not required
- Excellent Customer service & able to develop and maintain customer connections
- Tech-savvy & adaptable to new systems
- Taking initiative to learn & able to retain information
- Interest/Prior knowledge in the marine and motorsport industry is an asset.
