As a Parts Advisor, you will focus on delivering exceptional service while creating and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. That’s why we are looking for a proactive self-starter that is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The primary functions of the position includes the efficient ordering, stocking, and sale of automotive parts.
A day in the life…
- Assisting customers with specifications and ordering of parts, as well as arranging pickup of ordered parts.
- Communicating proficiently with customers and management to report any problems or delays regarding parts deliveries.
- Interacting with the Service and Sales departments to ensure smooth delivery of parts.
- Providing quotes and parts to Technicians as well as various body shops when needed.
- Assisting with inventory/warehouse control.
- Receiving/shipping of ordered inventory.
- Receiving payment from retail customers when necessary.
- General housekeeping of department.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned, subject to periodic adjustments to align with company objectives.
What You Bring To CAG…
- A strong attention to detail with a customer-first mindset.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Experience with CDK or Dealer Management systems is an asset.
- Basic technological and mechanical knowledge of how a vehicle operates is an asset.
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
- Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time.
- Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift up to 60lbs may be required.
- Ensuring safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors.
What We Require From You…
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ Parts experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Driver's Abstract.
- Record of Conduct
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
