Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a pleasant experience for all patrons. Your role will involve mixing and serving drinks, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, to process orders and handle cash transactions
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, food safety standards, and food handling practices
- Ensure the bar area is clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all customers receive prompt service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
