Tasks:
- Read Schematics blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Neatly organize components according to specifications (e.g. Din-rails, relays, contactors, etc.)
- Precisely Wire Controls Panels & Connect Various Components like Buttons, Foot Switches, Motors, Encoder, etc.
- Test and inspect components to ensure full functionality
- Trouble Shoot Breakdowns (Aptitude for Problem Solving)
- Support R&D Projects Incorporating Cutting Edge Technologies
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience within the Electrical Field an Asset
- Experience using a variety of electrical equipment (Voltmeters, ++) as well as electrical tools (Wire cutters, strippers, soldering irons, crimpers, ++)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective devices
- Quality workmanship, efficiency and ability to work independently
- Professional Certification and/or Knowledge of the Ontario electrical code and standards is an asset
- Previous exposure to PLCs, HMIs, VFDs would be an asset
- Occasional Travel may be required, must Poses a Valid Driver’s License
