Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The Painter will work on various projects, including drywall restoration and construction painting, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Restore surfaces by repairing drywall and performing necessary touch-ups.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting or construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Experience using power tools safely in a construction environment is essential.
