Job Description:
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday (5 days a week) for 3-5 hours a day
- Start Time: 5:00 PM
- Finish Time between: 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM approx. (start and finish times can vary during high volume peak season)
Responsibilities:
- Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
- Loads and unloads UPS packages in/out of trailers or package cars.
- All work is performed in a warehouse setting
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work 5 days per week
- Warehouse experience - Preferred
Compensation:
- $17.75/ per hour to start
- Guaranteed wage increase through Union Teamsters Collective Agreement
- Paid weekly
