Owner Operator – Tandem Truck with Rail Gate (Local Deliveries)

Position Summary
We are seeking experienced and dependable Owner Operators who operate a tandem axle truck equipped with a rail gate. This opportunity involves local delivery work within the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, offering consistent freight volume and daily home time.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight between designated locations within the Lower Mainland.
- Perform loading and unloading using a rail gate and power pallet jack.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Represent the client professionally at all delivery points.
- Comply with all provincial transportation laws and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Ownership and operation of a tandem axle truck with a functional rail gate is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Owner Operator in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proficient in the use of a power pallet jack for freight handling.
- Possession of a valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid commercial vehicle insurance meeting industry standards.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and Hours of Service regulations.
- Strong time management, route planning, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
Compensation and Support
- Annual compensation between $90,000 and $120,000, based on performance and route volume.
