Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to the US. Must be able to speak,read and write in English, clean criminal back ground check, drug test and must have 3 years experience with LOE letters.
Duties
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of freight, utilizing heavy equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while providing excellent customer service.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts for loading and unloading freight.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
- Experience in automotive repair for basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
- Ability to navigate various routes effectively, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during transport.
