Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to a 4 year old child with tracheostomy and feeding tube.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for a child with disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients in their home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in nursing home settings is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing needs.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
