RAPS is Seeking a full time and Part time Overnight Awake caregiver to assist an individual with a Hypoxia Brain Injury (E288)
Location Spruce Grove
Days: Shift 1: Sunday – Tuesday (36 hours)
Shift 2 Wednesday – Thursday (24 hours) * 2 candidates required
Hours: 7:30pm-7:30am
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: PM routine (Meal prep, Medication administration and redirection), Personal care including changing of incontinent products, assistance throughout the night (redirection), morning routine (meal prep, Medication and Vitals).
Note: This is an awake position
Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, have a driver’s license and vehicle, as well as first aid/ CPR certificate.
The candidate will hold a Health Care Aide certificate with a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, speak clear and fluent English, and have experience with redirection, wandering and de-escalation.
Rate of Pay: $20.00/ hour
