We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing a designated territory, grow our business channels, and drive revenue by selling our products. You will represent Upwardor to customers, prospects, and industry influencers, building strong relationships while providing solutions that meet client needs. The successful candidate will also support internal processes, contribute to strategic sales initiatives, and help drive our long-term success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Continually meet or exceed sales targets through new and existing customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer accounts and sales in company systems.
- Determine optimal strategies to close sales and meet revenue targets.
- Generate and follow up on leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
Customer Engagement & Representation:
- Build and sustain long lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
- Travel within your assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Provide consultative product guidance tailored to customer's needs.
- Represent Upwardor at industry trade shows and professional events.
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. -
Market Intelligence & Collaboration:
- Utilize product knowledge and market insights to increase Upwardor's visibility within your territory
- Make strategic recommendations to improve sales execution and customer engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, and product developments.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support decision making and sales strategy.
Customer Support & Problem Solving:
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a problem solver by identifying solutions to customer's needs.
- Communicate with management regarding any issues that may impact sales.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to team initiatives and support cross-functional projects as needed.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- 2-3 years' experience in outside sales, preferably in construction, building materials, steel/metal or related industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation ability.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business administration is an asset.
- Sales process knowledge including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, closing, and follow up.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
