Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for building and maintaining low voltage systems, working outdoors. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet safety standards and operate efficiently.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including security, using high quality lighting for high end reisdential and commercial properties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape maintenance tasks as needed
- Drivers license a plus, comfortable driving work trucks throughout the city of Montreal and Laurentians
- Dig trenches for cable installation and perform necessary landscaping work to restore areas post-installation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding system performance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build and maintain various low voltage systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, perform general upkeep tasks.
- Ability to dig trenches accurately for cable installation while ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: From $25.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
