Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Order Taker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in the food industry. As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while accurately processing their orders.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Process orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards during food handling and preparation.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, including serving and food preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience as a barista or in hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
