We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Order Taker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Provide menu information and assist customers with their selections, including upselling additional items.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Process payments efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure quick service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour
