Mario's Gelati is a local gelato manufacturing facility that has an opening for a full time, multi-talented receptionist / order desk clerk. In this position you will act as receptionist/order desk clerk and provide support with various administrative duties. You will be the first point of contact for all of our customers both in person and on the phone and must have a friendly, helpful demeanor when performing duties at our busy front desk.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Duties to include:
- Greet customers and direct them to the proper contact or service area
- Provide product knowledge and information
- Answer, screen and forward telephone calls using a multi-line switchboard
-Take customers orders and input the information with accuracy into our invoicing system.
- Prepare and send invoices
- Liaise with our shipping department
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying and distributing mail
- Respond accordingly to company-wide emails
The ideal candidate should be:
- Personable and have excellent communication skills and telephone manners
- Computer Skills (Intermediate knowledge of Word & Excel, QuickBooks - invoicing knowledge)
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Organized, detail oriented & accurate
- Able to multi-task & continually prioritize as new task come in
- Work well in a team environment & has a strong work ethic
- Working hours are Monday -Friday 8:30am - 5:00 pm.
