Busy multi-doctor optometry practice serving Guelph for 30 years is looking to add an OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT to our team.
Experience would be an asset but having excellent interpersonal skills and understanding that good customer service experiences are what elevates us among other places is what is truly important - we will provide training for the right candidate.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient experience
- Assisting patients select frames that work best with their face shape, personality, style and needs
- Understand visual needs and recommending suitable lenses
- Measure for, fit, dispense, troubleshoot and repair eyewear
- Train patients on proper contact lens insertion and removal
- Work in a team environment
- Cross training on front reception and diagnostic digital imaging
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving payments, patient billings, recalls, document management and data collection
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a frame gallery/optical sales
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to work in a team environment

Currently we are hiring for Part-time and/or Full time positions from 3-5 days a week. No weekends.
