Optometric Assistant/Admin
We are currently looking for someone to fill the role of a optometric assistant/receptionist. Our office is a busy practice with 3 full-time optometrists on site. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and customer service skills (pleasant attitude, helpful and kind).
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Pretesting (NCT/ IOP/ OCT)
- Frame Adjustments
- Processing, faxing and photocopying forms
- Providing administrative support
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments/ coordinating with doctor's schedules
- Data entry/computer work
- File Management (paper and electronic)
The potential candidate should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as teamwork and problem solving skills.
Previous experience is an asset. Training will be provided on our systems and procedures.
Pay will be based on previous experience and skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
