We are seeking an Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs and ensuring their satisfaction. If you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong background in optical sales, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Process orders for eyewear
- Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record in retail sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in retail management is a plus-
