We are looking for an Optical Sales Associate or Optician who can work with us on a full-time basis at our LMC affiliated clinic in Richmond Hill.
Essential Functions:
Greet and approach customers
Help customers find the best and most suitable products that meet their needs
Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair & dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses
Conduct pretest procedures on patients to help make eye appointments more efficient
Work in partnership with an Optometrist to serve the needs of your clients
Work in collaboration with your team members to maximize store profits
Meet and exceed optical sales targets
Education and Experience:
Experience working in an optical environment and customer service role
Strong organization and time management skills in a retail environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication decision making and problem-solving
Proficiency in use of computers
Flexible and adaptable with your customer's needs
Able to troubleshoot with patients issues with new eyewear
Ability to take initiative with projects and ideas for marketing, efficiency and process improvements to help grow the business
Ability to work in a team environment
A proven track record in sales is a definite asset
Edging experience would also be an asset
Access to a vehicle is preferred
