Marquis Snow and Ice Ltd. is seeking qualified On-call Truck Drivers to join our fast-growing Operations Team. As a Truck Driver, you will play an integral role in our Property Maintenance, Construction and Road Maintenance operations by transporting various machinery and materials and hauling snow as part of snow removal operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities
- Transports equipment and materials to and from job sites or between Company facilities.
- Haul snow as part of snow removal operations.
- Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
- Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy.
- Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Work Conditions
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
- Willing to travel regularly to complete on-site maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
- Flexible working hours including nights and weekends.
Job Requirements
- Valid DZ drivers license with a minimum two (2) years driving experience.
- Clean drivers abstract and CVOR.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
