Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House is a volunteer-driven, community-service organization. Our mission is to make neighbourhoods better places to live. The Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC (ANHBC) builds healthy and engaged neighbourhoods by connecting people and strengthening their capacity to create change.
ANHBC is the legal entity and umbrella organization made up of eight neighbourhood houses, an outdoor camp and central services. ANHBC is currently seeking On Call, Casual ECEA’s/ECE's/IT's who share ANHBC’s values to join our Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House team www.froghollow.bc.ca. Neighbourhood houses are highly collaborative with a strong team framework. The right people for this position are passionate about community development, social justice and are values-aligned with our organization.
About You
We are seeking highly motivated, passionate, flexible, and compassionate individuals to join our dynamic child care team as On Call, Casual ECEA’s/ECE's/IT's in our Early Years and School Age Care Programs across our different sites.
About the Position
The On Call, Casual position is responsible for the provision of an early childhood education and/or school age program that fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families and colleagues.

Skills & Qualifications:
ECEA/ECE/IT
Responsible Adult Training
Ability to provide programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and BC’s ELF
Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with children of all abilities, families, and colleagues .
Creativity, initiative, flexibility, compassion, sense of joy, and enthusiasm
Note-ECE candidates will qualify an additional $6 per hour wage enhancement
Hours: This is an On Call, Casual position. Shift can vary from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Pay: $21.74-$23.10 per hour
