Job Overview
We are seeking an OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR to join our team who will be overseeing daily administrative operations, supporting staff and management and maintaining a well-organized, productive office environment. The ideal candidate is proactive and possesses exceptional administrative skills, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
In this position, your RESPONSIBILITIES are such that you will be providing general and varied support to team members, including but not limited to:
- Answering and directing phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring a positive experience for callers;
- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets and creating work orders [database];
- Assisting other team members as required;
- Photocopying and scanning reports and other paperwork as required;
- Completing basic data entry;
- Coordinating schedules, meetings and appointments;
- Maintaining filing systems [physical and digital];
- Processing invoices, receipts and basic bookkeeping tasks;
- Assist with onboarding of new employees and maintaining HR records;
- Emailing and communicating with customers as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum grade 12 education;
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook - you are comfortable with technology;
- Familiarity with basic accounting and/or HR procedures is a plus;
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- You are professional, maintain a tidy workspace and are punctual;
- Keen attention to detail;
- You take initiative and are eager to learn;
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Work Hours - Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm & Friday 7am to 3pm
Full benefits package upon completion of three month probationary period and DPSP after 1 year of continuous employment.
