Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and driven Night Audit Supervisor / Manager on Duty to lead our overnight operations across both properties. This leadership role ensures smooth nightly transitions, contributes to operational and financial performance, and delivers guest experiences that reflect both Hamptonality and the welcoming Be at Home environment that defines our brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nightly hotel operations for both Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites
- Complete daily night audit procedures and ensure financial accuracy
- Perform pre-arrival checks for the next three days, flagging VIPs and special needs
- Handle reservations, emails, and OTA inquiries during overnight hours
- Monitor competitor rates and assist in rate strategizing to maximize revenue
- Strategize for sell-out nights, managing inventory, room types, and overbooking decisions
- Strive to achieve the highest occupancy and ADR while maintaining rate integrity
- Manage guest relocations (walks) with care and professionalism
- Act as Manager on Duty, handling guest concerns, safety issues, and emergencies
- Lead and support the Night Auditor/Front Desk team overnight
- Prepare detailed handovers for the morning shift
- Maintain a clean, guest-ready lobby and front office environment
Qualifications
- Hotel Night Audit or Front Desk leadership experience (Hilton PEP experience an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Goal-driven and results-focused, with an eye on occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and guest satisfaction
- Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a calm and confident leadership style
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Preference given to candidates with:
- Valid First Aid certification
- ProServe certification
- Valid driver’s license
