This is a full-time position earning between $55,000 - $65,000/year depending on experience & education.
Job Description
Our Network & Systems Coordinator is accountable for providing technical support while ensuring systems remain secure, efficient, and current. You will support users, maintain hardware/software infrastructure, and maintain/enhance business systems.
- Provide first-level technical support for internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain hardware, system access, software installations, and user accounts.
- Maintain and support communication tools including company cell phones, desk phones, and Microsoft Teams.
- Liaise with external vendors and consultants for Microsoft Dynamics support, network issues, and system enhancements.
- Coordinate with department leads to understand recurring issues and tech needs, and support ongoing improvements.
- Assist with cybersecurity measures, data backups, software patches, and security protocols in coordination with external support.
- Participate in the planning, buildout, and maintenance of a new e-commerce site (platform setup, hosting, user functionality).
- Document system procedures, update internal IT guides, and assist in user training.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Completion of a college program in computer science, information technology, or network administration (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Experience supporting HRIS and POS systems is an asset.
- 2 years+ in a user support or IT technician role, preferably in a mid-size organization.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices and troubleshooting hardware / software/ network issues.

Additional Information
You will need a valid driver's license as travel between our different local sites is required. This position is based in our West Kelowna office (casual dress code) with occasional physical troubleshooting (eg, setting up devices in retail or nursery locations). We are seasonal, so we have fast-paced, seasonal fluctuations with high user support demands in spring, which also requires flexibility in scheduling (evenings/weekends) for system upgrades. Work hours will adjust during the spring shipping season to minimize downtime during our high-volume period.
