Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Naturopath to join our holistic health team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural medicine and a passion for patient care, focusing on promoting wellness through natural therapies. As a Naturopath, you will work closely with patients to assess their health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and lifestyle evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing naturopathic principles, including herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide ongoing patient care and support, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on the benefits of naturopathic therapies and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid registration to practice as a Naturopath in Ontario.
- Experience in pediatrics, digestive and women's health is an asset
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Commitment to holistic health principles and patient-centered care.
