Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced home moving environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients belongings are packed efficiently and accurately for the move. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Duties
- Build and assemble packaging materials as needed for various items.
- Pack clients items carefully and appropriately to ensure that no damage comes to them during the moving process.
- Carefully label boxes to ensure that each box is labelled for the room it will be going to and what items are contained within it.
- Assist with organization of items within each box.
- Unpack boxes in the clients new home and assist with set up of those items as per the clients wishes/directions.
- Removal of all packing materials/garbage/recycling.
- Engage in heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an environment where careful packing of various items was required is an asset.
- Strong physical stamina with the capability of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and careful packing and moving of clients belongings is required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
