Position Summary:
We are currently seeking Mover Assistants to join our caring and professional team in London, Ontario. This role involves packing, organizing, and assisting with residential moves—primarily for seniors and their families. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully pack and label household items
- Organize, sort, and help clients with decision-making about their belongings
- Assist with moving boxes, light furniture, and household goods
- Provide gentle, respectful support to clients throughout the move
- Unpack and help set up items at the new home when needed
- Work closely with team leads and coworkers in a respectful, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods
- Experience in moving, packing, caregiving, customer service, or organizing is a plus
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to start
