Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Motel 6 Supervisor to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and guest inquiries.
- Supervise and train hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest services and satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with the human resources department for hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve profitability goals.
- Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hotel services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Supervising experience is essential; leadership capabilities are highly valued.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management in a hotel setting.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in human resources functions related to staffing, training, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of front desk operations and guest services best practices is required.
